Welcome to Wonderland!Much as Alice enjoyed a wondrous adventure when she stepped through the looking glass into a fantasy world of wonderful characters, we invite you to experience a magical adventure of your own when you attend the 49th California State Square Dance Convention, Dancing in Wonderland. Much thought and planning has gone into making this a special experience for dancers of all ages and interests. We invite you to remember your own childhood fantasies as we bring Alice’s story to life through song and dance. Cal Expo offers us a great venue, with eight dance halls surrounding a Center Courtyard (the Queen of Hearts Courtyard, of course!) that will feature exhibitions, the fashion show and other special ceremonies. RV parking is in close proximity to the dance halls, and our Convention host hotel offers quality accommodations at an affordable price. The adventure begins with our Trail End dance on Thursday night. It will benefit the California Square Dance Council’s Youth Scholarship Program.
